Ranveer Allahbadia crass comment: Maharashtra govt files FIR against 'India's Got Latent' show

Maharashtra cyber department has registered an FIR against the YouTube show 'India’s Got Latent' following influencer Ranveer Allahbadia's controversial comments. Summonses are being sent to 30 guests. Advocates seek a ban on the show and an FIR against three influencers involved.

MUMBAI: Maharashtra cyber department on Tuesday registered an FIR against YouTube reality show India’s Got Latent, which is facing criticism over crude comments made by influencer Ranveer Allahbadia, police said. Summonses are being sent to about 30 guests who have participated in the show from the first episode till now, police said. The suo motu FIR was registered under IT Act. Cyber department has sought removal of all 18 episodes of the show. Meanwhile, Indore advocate Aman Malviya on Tuesday filed a police complaint seeking ban on the show and an FIR against three influencers, Allahbadia, Samay Raina and Apoorva Mukhija, involved in the controversial episode.
