Ramdas missed the exhibition inauguration

MYSORE: District in-charge minister S A Ramdas on Wednesday locked horns with his party colleague B P Manjunath, chairman of Karnataka Exhibition Authority over the inauguration of the Dasara exhibition.
The exhibition was scheduled to be inaugurated by minister for industries Murgesh Nirani at 4.30 pm on Wednesday. However, in his absence the exhibition was launched by energy minister Shobha Karandlaje at 6 pm while Ramdas was on his way.It was only when Ramdas arrived at the Dasara exhibition ground, he came got to know that the event was inaugurated and left the ground in a hurry miffed with Manjunath.
Angered by the treatment meted out to their leader, supporters of Ramdas criticized Manjunath and mobbed his office. They said it was an insult to their leader and sought Manjunath's apology. However, Manjunath contended that the minister didn't keep him informed that he would be late. BJP leaders intervened to pacify the protesters who have threatened to stage a protest on Thursday.
