All India Sanskrutik Utsav begins at NADT
Nagpur: The 3rd All India Sanskrutik Utsav 2024 got underway at National Academy of Direct Taxes (NADT) premises, Chhindwara Road, on Friday.
The two-day event was inaugurated by P Selva Ganesh, IRS and director general of NADT, and was attended by officials from the income tax department across the country. The celebration was jointly organised by NADT and the Principal Chief Commissioner of the Income Tax Office in Nagpur, under the guidance of the Central Board of Direct Taxes and its HRD Directorate in New Delhi.
The Utsav aimed to enhance the cultural talents of officials within the income tax department. During his address, Selva Ganesh emphasised the significance of cultural activities and talent encouragement within the department, proudly noting the presence of Olympians and Para-Olympians among its members.
The inaugural ceremony was marked by enthusiasm and included an exhibition of paintings and photographs. Prominent attendees of the event included S Padmaja, chief principal commissioner of the income tax department, and Munish Kumara, additional director general of NADT.
The celebration featured a diverse array of performances such as dance, instrumental music, singing, poetry recitation, skits, and mushaira. It was attended by officials of the income tax department, along with employees from both departments.
