Man found dead under Ram Jhula, cause a mystery
Nagpur: A man died after being spotted in an unconscious state under the Ram Jhula bridge under mysterious circumstances on Thursday, at the same spot where a murder had occurred a couple of months ago.Sources said the man was seen loitering in the area earlier in the day. No injuries were found on the man who was later declared dead at Mayo Hospital. The area beneath the bridge is notorious for antisocial activities, including open drinking, gambling, frequent fights, stabbings and violent crimes. Police had conducted a drive to clear the spot of vagabonds and mischief-mongers.The victim's identity is yet to be established. Ganeshpeth police have registered a case of accidental death and launched an investigation. Forensic teams and crime scene experts visited the spot to gather evidence. Police are questioning suspects and examining CCTV footage from nearby areas.
