NAGPUR: Raj Chaudhary returned with a match haul of eight wickets to bowl Indian Gymkhana to a thumping innings and 151 runs victory against Eleven Star Cricket Club in the Guzder League A Division outing at the Ambedkar College ground here on Sunday.
Replying to a huge score of 376 for 7 by Indian Gymkhana, Eleven Star were skittled out for mere 133 in their first innings.
Following on, they fared even worse when they were bundled out for 91 in 31.2 overs. Left-arm spinner Raj did the bulk of the damage by claiming a five-for conceding just 16 runs. Raj had claimed 3 for 26 in the first innings, taking his match tally to eight wickets.
Leg-spinner Azhar Shaikh picked up three wickets, while seamer Siddhesh Neral bagged a couple.
At the Gurunanak Pharmacy ground, All India Reporter trounced Reshimbag Gymkhana by eight wickets. Ravi Jangid was the chief architect of win with a brilliant century.
Opening batsman Sanil Shekatkar smashed 183 as Lipton Club took the first innings lead against Advocate Club at the Pandav College ground.
In another drawn encounter between Mujumdar CC and Navniketan CC at the WCL ground, Dharmender Ahlawat hammered an unbeaten 180 to help Navniketan take first innings lead.
