Soak in the Kerala experience at lit and cultural fest in Urban Haat

NAVI MUMBAI: Book lovers can look forward to The Kerala Literary and Cultural Fest, which will offer over 1 lakh copies of various books across 12 thousand titles in many different languages.
The festival, being organized at Urban Haat from November 27 to December 6, will include panel discussions and ‘Kavi Sammelan’, talks on issues relevant to women and cookery competitions.
The event will also have painting, essay writing, short story and poetry recitation competitions for children.
There will also be live performances by noted musicians P Jayachandran, Balabhaskar and his team. Artists from the state will also perform Panchari Melam Panchavadyam and many such popular musical ensembles.
Food lovers can look forward to authentic dishes from god’s own land at the food court during the festival.
The Malayalee cultural associations and samajams from across the metro will get opportunity to showcase their talents by staging variety of events during the ten-day fest. Traditional handicrafts and textiles will also be on display and sale.
