4 Dalits killed in Gopalganj

CHAPRA: Armed criminals killed four people belonging to the Musahar caste on Wednesday night in Gopalganj district after kidnapping them from Puraina village under Siwan district.
Confirming the incident, Saran Range DIG M A Kazmi said that the victims were taken to Chap Gaon in Gopalganj district and killed. The bodies were found near a nahar. The deceased have been identified as Jagran Mushar (60), Hari Mushar (40) Awadh Mushar (60) and Suddhu Mushar (30).
Kazmi said that on Tuesday night one Munshi Miyan had gone to Mushar Tola and demanded toddy.When he was denied that, a quarrel ensued and Munshi Miyan was beaten, which led to the killing.
