Patna: In a curious development,
RJD MLA from Matihani, Narendra Kumar Singh alias Bogo Singh, on Wednesday visited the office of JD(U) to meet health minister
Nishant Kumar, triggering speculations. However, Singh told the reporters that he had gone there to apprise the health minister about the pathetic condition of hospitals in his constituency.
Soon after meeting the health minister, Singh said he had got a six-bed hospital constructed in his constituency more than a decade back but the hospital remains in a bad shape. Similarly, former health minister Mangal Pandey too had inaugurated a community hospital in Samho block six months back but its condition also remains a matter of serious concern.
“I was frustrated over the condition of these health facilities in my district. So I came to meet the health minister and narrate my troubles before him,” the RJD MLA claimed.
Earlier, another RJD MLA Faisal Rahman from Dhaka constituency called on CM Samrat Choudhary. However, he was conspicuous by his absence during the voting process for Rajya Sabha elections and did not vote for the INDIA bloc candidate, leading to his defeat.
