Stone laid for GD college's admn building

PATNA: A function was organised on the Ganga Devi Mahila Mahavidyalaya campus at Kankerbagh on Thursday to mark the foundation-laying ceremony of its new administrative building and canteen.
HRD minister Hari Narayan Singh also laid the stone of the statue of late Ganga Devi, mother of Sheonandan Prasad who was founder secretary of the college. The minister praised the initiatives taken by principal Usha Sinha for the development of the college.
On this occasion, MLA Arun Kumar Sinha and MLC Neeraj Kumar announced a donation of Rs 1 lakh each for the development of the college campus.
Earlier, principal Sinha urged the HRD minister to confirm the services of teaching and non-teaching employees of the college and regularise payment of salaries.
