Food lovers in the city are spoilt for choice with a pan Indian presence of over 30 food stalls out of over 100 put up as a part of BiharDiwas celebrations at Gandhi Maidan that commenced on Friday.
Authentic cuisines from different states of India can be flavoured by Patnaites at the 'food court' set up by Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC).

While chefs from Kerala would be treating your taste buds with coconut rice, idli and chatni, Hyderabadi cooks would serve their special biryanis and Bengali cooks would serve your platter with fish delicacies at the 'Vyanjan mela'.
For roadside food lovers, who find their heaven in golgappa and momos, over 40 stalls, 15 from Bihar and 25 from other states, serving diverse varieties and items with more than 200 recipes from down south to up northern states and from coastal east to Gangetic plains have been put up at All India Street Food Festival. Organizers claim it to be the maiden street food fest of Bihar that is being organized by National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) in association with Nidan.
The 'Spring Street Food Thunder' would tantalize your taste buds leaving you wanting for more. "We've already had 'chole-kulche' and Karnataka pakode and I'm thinking of trying chicken chuda," said Priya Singh, a final year college student who had come here with her friends.
For those having a sweet tooth, the food court had much on offer. From the local Sudha peda and rabdi, Silao khaja, balushahi, ghevar, jalebi and imarti to ice creams, dessert options would confuse foodies. Kulhad chai is available at the same stall selling lemon tea and cold coffee. Of course, fast food, pizza and burgers complete the choices for youngistan. Stalls have also been put up by popular restaurants and food chains of the city.
