As per highly placed sources, on Sunday night the operator of the Ambedkar hospital’s oxygen control room,

Ravi Chandra

, was found in inebriated condition. He was later suspended for risking life of patients on ventilators.

On Sunday night for around 20 minutes the patients who were on ventilator complained about suffocation and uneasy to breath to the hospital attendants due to lack of oxygen supply. This created a panic like situation in the hospital, which later on turned out to be the negligence of the oxygen room’s operator, who has been suspended.

However, talking to TOI, the spokesperson’s of Ambedkar hospital has denied the death of any children due to disruptive oxygen supply.
