The teachers working in the respective schools could be appointed in Swami Atmanand school on deputation and if suitable teachers are not available, teachers from other schools could be appointed on deputation as well.
The petitioners submitted that Rajnandgaon government high school was also selected for upgradation to Swami Atmanand school. They also submitted that the authorities had sought consent of lecturers and assistant teachers for deputation to Swami Atmanand school and majority of the staff gave their consent.
The petitioners submitted that before taking a decision on their consent for deputation, the district education officer of Rajnandgaon issued an advertisement inviting applications for appointment of teachers on deputation. They challenged bringing teachers on deputation from outside when eligible teachers are available in the same school expressing apprehension that they could be transferred elsewhere.
