Barbers stab man with scissors

RAJKOT: Three barbers stabbed a man with a pair of scissors on Sunday afternoon over a financial dispute in the University Road area in Rajkot on Sunday afternoon. Police have arrested the accused trio.
Police said the incident occurred when Valji Kotadia (34), a resident of Khad Dhoraji of Kalavad taluka in Jamnagar, had gone to the barber shop of Manilal Bhayani (48) to recover Rs 200 that he had lent to him.
“When Manilal refused to hand Valji the amount, an altercation broke out between them. Then, Manilal’s helper Vinod Shishangia grabbed Valji from behind and his son Jignesh Bhayani (26) and Manilal picked up a pair of scissors and stabbed Valji in his chest, stomach and back,” said a University police station official.
Police arrested the trio after booking them for attempt to murder on Sunday night.
