Constable shoots himself to death

Rajkot: A head constable of Kalyanpur police station in Devbhumi Dwarka allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his govenment revolver on Friday.
Pravin Vaghela shot himself in the forehead on Khambhalia- Dwarka highway. He had gone to Khambhalia for official work and while returning home took the extreme step.
Deputy superintendent of police, Nilam Goswami, said “He was not issued any weapon, but being head writer, all the service weapons were in his custody.Vaghela took one weapon and committed suicide. We also found his suicide note stating that he was taking this step on his free will and urged that his family should not be disturbed.”
Vaghela’s wife died a few years back and he is survived by four daughters.
