IMFL worth Rs 12 lakh seized in two separate raids

Rajkot: A large liquor cache worth more than Rs 12 lakh was seized in two different operations at Gandhidham in Kutch and Rajkot on Tuesday night.
In the first operation, 99 boxes containing 1,188 full bottles of Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL), 160 boxes of 7,680 quarter bottles of IMFL, all worth Rs 11.83 lakh, were seized from a truck that was intercepted near Ajwa Plot on the highway near Gandhidham.

Rapid response cell of Bhuj police arrested Mangilal alias Tejaram Bishnoi (21) and Sukhram Bishnoi (28), both residents of Sachor in Rajasthan, from the truck.
In the second operation, Hasu Valani (40), a resident of Shramjivi Society near Rajmoti Mill, was arrested with 72 bottles of IMFL worth Rs 21,600 from Chuna Bhattha on the road towards Bhichari in Pradyuman Park in Rajkot.
