Jamnagar man reports 8.6L burglary while family was away
Rajkot: A 43-year-old man from Jamnagar has lodged a complaint after unidentified burglars allegedly broke into his house and decamped with cash and jewellery worth Rs 8.6 lakh while his family was away.According to the complaint filed at C Division police station, complainant Naran Kandoriya, a resident of Yadav Nagar and a provision store owner, had gone with his family to a water park near Jambuda Patiya on Saturday. They left home in the morning and returned around 5pm.On returning, the family found a room lock broken and the door open, with household items strewn around. The cupboard lock had also been broken.Police said cash worth Rs 8.3 lakh and a gold ring valued at Rs 30,000 were missing.A case has been registered against an unknown person under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
