1 killed, 3 injured after dilapidated building wall collapses in Hazaribag

Hazaribag: A 32-year-old labourer was killed and three others, including a contractor, were injured after a wall of a dilapidated building collapsed during repair work near Madina Masjid in Konra Shadi Mohalla under Barhi block of the district on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Dablu Ansari, a local. The injured were identified Mohammad Minhaj, Mohammad Qurban and Mohammad Sarfaraz.

They were taken to Barhi sub-divisional hospital from where Ansari was referred to Hazaribag for advanced treatment. He died on the way. “The body was handed over to the family after postmortem examination,” Vinod Kumar, the officer-in-charge of Barhi police station, said.
