Boy run over by DJ van in Palamu

Daltonganj: A three-year-old boy was killed after a DJ van ran over him under Chainpur police station limits of Palamu district late on Wednesday. The deceased, identified as Satyam Kumar, was run over at Dulsulma village on the Chainpur-Chando Road. The driver of the van fled the spot after abandoning his vehicle. Sriram Sharma, the officer-in-charge of Chainpur police station, said a probe has been initiated. Following the incident, angry villagers blocked the Chainpur-Chando road, disrupting movement in the area. Police said the administration was making efforts to clear the blockade and restore normal traffic.
