Ranchi: The state assembly on Tuesday passed the second supplementary budget of Rs 7,721.25 crore for the current fiscal year 2025-26 by voice vote. BJP, however, staged a walkout after accusing the govt of allegedly duping the public with false promises.Finance minister Radha Krishana Kishore had tabled the supplementary budget earlier on Monday.In the second supplementary budget, a maximum allocation of Rs 2,082.25 crore went to the women, child development and social security department, followed Rs 1,324.82.85 crore to the rural works department, while the health, medical education and family welfare department received Rs 729.75 crore.
