Missing H’bag man’s body found floating in river

Hazaribag: Body of a 50-year-old man, who had been missing since Monday, was recovered from a river between Chorka bridge and Chhavania under Barkagaon police station limits of the district on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Riyaz Ansari, a resident of Kanki Dadi village.When Riyaz did not return after the leaving the house on Monday evening, his son Mohammad Ziauddin had lodged a missing diary at Dadikala police outpost (OP) on Tuesday. On Wednesday morning, locals spotted a body floating in the river and informed police. "The family members have identified the body of Riyaz and did not allege foul play against anyone," Sagen Murmu, officer in-charge of Dadikala OP, said.
