Special camps for voter mapping on Saturday, Sunday
Ranchi: The district administration will organise special camps at all polling stations on Saturday and Sunday to expedite voter mapping ahead of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). The camps will held from 8 am to 4 pm, deputy commissioner–cum-district election officer Manjunath Bhajantri said on Thursday.
“Booth level officers will be present from 8 am to 4 pm, while those engaged in Census duty will work till 1 pm. Election officials have been directed to ensure strict monitoring and presence of BLOs and supervisors. We appeal to all eligible voters to visit their nearest booths with necessary documents and complete their mapping without fail,” Bhajantri said.
