Woman among 3 peddlers arrested

Hazaribag: Three drug peddlers, including a woman, were arrested and 169 gm of brown sugar confiscated from a forested area under Pelawal outpost limits on Thursday, police said.Acting on a tip-off, a team led by additional superintendent of police (ASP) Amit Kumar conducted a raid in the Bonga Road forest area and arrested two accused, Avinash Kumar and Sandeep Kumar alias Nikky. The accused revealed that the brown sugar was being supplied by Kiran Kumari alias Kajal Kumar. Acting on the revelation, police arrested her. TNNASP Kumar said accused Sandeep Kumar alias Nikky has a criminal history.
