Wounded Peacock Rescued in Giridih After Dog Attack
Bokaro: A wounded peacock, struggling for life after being attacked by dogs, was rescued from a village under Mufassil police station limits in Giridih district on Saturday.
The injured bird was first spotted in the backyard of Rajesh Sah, a resident of Budhwadih Tola in Tatokiyari village. As locals informed the forest department, a team reached Sah’s home and rescued the bird.
On Saturday, veterinarian Dr Dheeraj Kumar treated the injured bird.
