Shiv Pratap Shukla presided over the 13th convocation of Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni in Solan district, on Sunday. A total of 816 degrees were awarded at the convocation ceremony, where horticulture minister Jagat Singh Negi was present as the chief guest. The governor conferred 12 gold medals to meritorious students on the occasion. He also awarded 119 PhD degrees in horticulture and forestry. Meanwhile, Negi awarded degrees to the MSc and BSc students. tnn
