₹48L stolen from Adajan builder’s bungalow

Surat: A theft of Rs. 48 lakh occured at a builder’s bungalow in Adajan on Monday morning. Kaushal Patel (32) lives in Setu Vila Society in Adajan with his wife, sister and parents. His father Himmat Patel (61) is builder who had kept Rs 48 lakh in cash in a cupboard. Himmat Patel was out of station for a social function on Monday.

On Monday morning, an unknown person entered the bungalow at 1am and left around 3am. Kaushal’ sister Nidhi heard a noise during the night and called his brother about it. When he woke up, he noticed someone leaving the house with a bag. They immediately called 112 and informed the police. Adajan police are investigating further.
