CM to open co-op expo on April 21

T'puram: Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the third edition of the Cooperative Expo at Kanakakunnu Palace here on April 21.
The expo — Festival of Unity — will feature exhibitions and sales of over 400 products from cooperative societies across the state, cooperatives minister VN Vasavan said.
Besides 250 air-conditioned exhibition stalls spread across 70,000 sq ft and a 12,000 sq ft food court offering dishes from various districts, the expo will include a special venue for product launches and book releases and a department pavilion showcasing the history, public schemes and activities of cooperatives.
The expo, also featuring seminars on various topics, cultural youth conferences, art programmes and cultural events, will run till April 30. TNN
