Dist employment exchange to host job fair on Saturday
T'puram: A job fair will be organised at employability centre functioning under the district employment exchange on Saturday. The fair will begin at 10am at the centre located at the Kadakampally mini civil station.Candidates with qualifications ranging from SSLC and Plus Two to graduation and Ayurveda therapy certification can participate in the recruitment drive. Applicants below the age of 40 are eligible to register and attend the fair. Interviews will be conducted for various posts, including business development manager, sign board maker, welder, machine operator, delivery boy, telecaller, ayurveda therapist and digital marketing staff. Officials said candidates can register at the centre by paying a one-time registration fee of Rs 300. Registered candidates will be able to participate in weekly interviews and job fairs conducted through employability centres in Thiruvananthapuram and other districts for placements in private firms. Applicants registering for the first time have been asked to bring their Aadhaar card. The centre also offers soft skills and computer training programmes aimed at helping registered candidates improve their employability and prepare for interviews and placements.
