Ente Keralam expo, food fest to begin tomorrow
Thiruvananthapuram: Ente Keralam exhibition and food fair organised as part of the second anniversary of the LDF government will begin on Saturday.
Preparations for the fair to be held till May 27 have been completed at Kanakakunnu grounds.
More than 250 fully air-conditioned stalls have been set up for the expo.
Service stalls set up by around 15 government departments ensuring free and fast assistance, stalls where visitors can buy products prepared by various departments and local entrepreneurs at low prices, an extensive food court where about 300 people can try out a variety of dishes at a time and cultural programmes led by famous artists are some of the highlights of the fair.

A youth segment where young minds and startup entrepreneurs can share their innovative ideas and unique achievements, a techno-zone with state-of-the-art robots and a sports corner set up to foster sports culture are the other main attractions of the grand expo.
A miniature version of the four central jails of Kerala at the special pavilion of the state prisons department will be a unique experience.

Anil and Antony Raju will inaugurate the Ente Keralam fair on Saturday at 11 am. Other political and cultural leaders will also be in attendance.
As part of the inaugural celebrations a musical night led by playback singer MG Sreekumar will be staged at Nishagandhi auditorium at 8pm.
The fair will be open to the public from 10am till night and entry is free.
