UDAIPUR: A Jaipur-based IT manager has alleged that she was gang-raped in a moving car by her company’s CEO and an executive head’s husband, with the executive head reportedly present during the ordeal.
The crime, police said, occurred during what was meant to be the CEO’s birthday celebration on December 20, and all three accused have been detained for questioning.
How the crime unfolded:
- The incident reportedly occurred on Dec 20 in Sukher, Jaipur, during a company CEO’s birthday outing.
- The survivor, a manager at a private IT firm, attended the birthday and New Year party at a hotel in Shobhagpura from 9pm to 1:30am, where heavy drinking was involved.
- As the party wound down, the survivor became intoxicated and nearly unconscious.
- The CEO, a woman executive head, and the executive head’s husband allegedly offered to drop her home.
- Instead of heading straight to her residence, they stopped at a local shop and coerced her into consuming an item resembling a cigarette, which left her unconscious.
- Upon partially regaining consciousness, the survivor alleged that the CEO molested her while the executive’s husband raped her inside the vehicle.
- Despite her pleas to be taken home, she was reportedly dropped only around 5am.
- The survivor later reviewed the car’s dashcam footage, which recorded the alleged crime, and filed a complaint on Dec 23.
- Police have detained all three accused—including the woman executive head—and registered a gang-rape case.
Investigation is being led by Additional SP Madhuri Verma of the Women’s Crime Unit, with a medical report awaited.
