Udaipur:
Indian Army’s Battle Axe division launched the Aravali Trail Expedition from Eklinggarh military station in the city on Sunday. Brigadier Vishal Nayyar, Station Commander, flagged off the expedition. which is a unique blend of trekking and cycling.
Officers said the expedition offers participants an exhilarating experience through the rugged terrain of the Aravalli Hills in the Mewar Region and reignites the spirit of adventure in them.
During the expedition amidst the breathtaking landscapes and challenging trails, the participants will have the opportunity to connect with veterans, Veer Naris, and vibrant youth, they said.
“More than just an adventure, this initiative reflects Indian Army’s unwavering dedication to the well-being of its esteemed elders, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among the youth. It resonates with the national ethos of ‘Young India - Fit India,’ advocating for physical fitness and an adventurous spirit,” said the Army. tnn
