The two-minute video showed the gang members flaunting guns and swords with background music similar to those in mafia movies.
The video clipping features a collage of images of the gang's group pictures at various locations in the city.
"The guns shown in the video are mainly toy guns made in China. We have interrogated all six persons and found out that none of them had any criminal offences registered against them in the past," said detection of crime branch (DCB) police inspector Rahul Patel.

They were mostly involved in fabrication works, welding and other odd jobs, said Patel. He added that police will take stringent action against youth who involve in making such videos that may spread panic among people.
"Chances are high that such videos can be misused by people to threaten and extort citizens," added the inspector.
All the accused were booked under section 151 (unlawful assembly )of the Indian Penal Code. While Munaf, Altaf, Rahul, Nehal and Afzal are residents of Akota, Aanif is a resident of Nawabwada area in the old city. The youngsters were granted bail and let off with a warning.
