Couple found dead

VARANASI: Sensation prevailed in Birahimabad village under Sadar Kotwali police station area in Ghazipur district when the decaying bodies of a couple were found lying inside their house on Tuesday morning.
According to reports, a mason, Kedar Ram, dwelt in his house with his son Kailash Ram (26), daughter-in-law Saroja (24) and grandson Sonu (2).
Due to poor financial condition of the family, the relation between Kedar and Kailash had turned bitter.
For the past few days, Kedar had gone somewhere. Two days back, Kailash took his son Sonu to the place of his in-laws at Sohwal area to leave him there.
After that, nobody saw Kailash and his wife. On Tuesday morning, a child of the village reached near their house to pluck flowers when he felt suffocation due to foul smell emanating there. He reported the matter to the gram pradhan who informed the police. When the police broke into the house, the decayed bodies of Kailash and Saroja were lying on the floor. It was suspected that they had consumed poison to commit suicide. Their bodies were sent for postmortem.
