Governor arrives in city

VARANASI: UP Governor BL Joshi and his wife Santosh Joshi arrived in the city on Friday afternoon on a two-day visit.
The governor visited Jnana Pravaha, an institution of cultural studies and research, in Samneghat area. He saw the museum and library at Jnana Pravaha. In the evening, he took part in the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat.
According to the schedule, the governor will take a holy bath in the Ganga at Dashashwamedh Ghat on Saturday morning.Later, he will attend the convocation of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University (SSU). He will leave for Lucknow by state plane on Saturday afternoon.
