VARANASI: Subramaniam (60), a pilgrim from Tamil Nadu, died mysteriously at Hanuman Ghat under Bhelupur police station on Saturday.
According to reports, Subramaniam had visited the city for pilgrimage and he was staying at Juna Akhadas Ashram at Hanuman Ghat. He was climbing up the ghats steps after bathing in Ganga on Saturday morning when he fell and died.

The locals rushed him to SPG hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
