VARANASI: To mark the World Water Day, the Sankat Mochan Foundation, an NGO working for the cause of Ganga, will organise human chain along the ghats on March 22 in memory of the SMF founder and noted environmentalist Prof Veer Bhadra Mishra, who died recently.
Talking to reporters on Wednesday, convener, Ramyash Mishra said besides children of different schools, volunteers of National Service Scheme (NSS) and local citizens would take part in the human chain formation.

Meanwhile, representative of spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar of Art of Living, Sri Prakashanand met Prof Vishwambhar Nath Mishra, son of Prof Veer Bhadra Mishra and new mahanth of Sankat Mochan Temple to condole the death. Mishra was also the mahanth of Sankat Mochan Temple.
