The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) has earmarked 22.53 acres for the project. While 5.53 acres will be utilised for the Secretariat complex, 17 acres have been allocated for residential towers to accommodate Central govt employees. The project will be executed by the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) with modern infrastructure and green building features. The Centre’s approval is expected to pave the way for the commencement of works and bring fresh momentum to the construction of the capital city.
