Vijayawada: The three-day Kumbhabhishekam rituals at the Kanaka Durga Temple concluded on Sunday, with the final ceremonies held in the presence of priests, temple officials, and devotees.
The temple, located on Indrakeeladri Hill, hosted a series of religious rituals over the past three days as part of the periodic temple consecration ceremony. According to temple authorities, the final day's programme began in the morning with Mantapa Poojas and Moola Mantra Havanams at the Yagashala.

The rituals concluded with Purnahuti performed around 9 am, after which the main Kumbhabhishekam ceremony was conducted.
The ritual was performed at the designated muhurtham on the temple's Vimana Gopuram by Shankara Vijayendra Saraswati, head of the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham. As part of the ceremony, sanctified water collected from various rivers and seas was poured over the temple structure.
Thousands of devotees gathered at the temple premises to witness the ritual. Temple authorities made arrangements for crowd management and darshan during the ceremony.
Several govt and temple officials attended the event. The endowments minister, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, participated in the rituals and had darshan of the deity.
Temple board chairman Borra Radhakrishna and executive officer VK Seena Nayak supervised the arrangements for the programme.
After the ritual, the pontiff delivered a brief address explaining the significance of Kumbhabhishekam, a temple consecration ceremony traditionally performed once every 12 years. Temple authorities said devotees participated in large numbers during the three-day event, and the ceremonies were conducted according to established religious procedures.
