3-year-old girl raped, murdered in Andhra Pradesh; body found buried in bushes

A three-and-a-half-year-old girl was brutally raped and murdered by a 22-year-old relative in the Yanadi Colony of AM Puram village, Tirupati district. The suspect lured the child with the promise of chocolates, committed the crime in a secluded area, and subsequently buried her body. Following his confession, the police intervened and took him into custody.

TIRUPATI: A girl aged three and a half years was brutally raped and killed by a person closely related to the family.
The incident occurred on Friday evening at the Yanadi Colony of AM Puram village in Vadamalapeta mandal of Tirupati district, falling under Nagari constituency.
Sushanth, aged 22, took her out of her house under the pretext of buying her chocolates, reached a deserted place, and resorted to the extreme step.
He also killed the girl and buried her behind the bushes at the same spot.
When the girl’s parents questioned him after they could not find their daughter despite searching everywhere, he confessed and led them to the spot where he buried the body.
Police reached the spot and sent the body to Puttur govt general hospital for postmortem. The cops took Sushanth into their custody for interrogation.
