VIJAYAWADA: The NDA govt in
Andhra Pradesh will not tolerate any kind of attacks on women, said Nara Bhuvaneswari, wife of chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Referring to the Chirala rape and murder incident in which police arrested the accused within 48 hours, Bhuvaneswari said that the days when women used to run from pillar to post for protection have gone.
Taking to X, Bhuvaneswari said that “Today we have a govt which never compromise on women safety.
Under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu women will get protection and speedy justice”.
Bhuvaneswari appreciated home minister Vangalapudi Anitha for taking swift action in rape and murder of 21-year-old at Chirala in Bapatla district. She also appreciated Andhra Pradesh police for nabbing the accused within short time. She said Anitha and police department are working with complete dedication for women safety. She hoped that same level of commitment for women safety and security will continue in future as well.
