VIJAYAWADA: SEIL Energy India Limited, one of the largest independent power producers (IPP) in India, announced that it has been declared the winner of the prestigious 'Golden Peacock Award for Excellence in Corporate Governance' for the year 2025. This esteemed award, declared by the Institute of Directors (IOD), recognizes SEIL energy's commitment to upholding the highest standards of corporate governance.
The golden peacock awards, instituted by the IOD are a benchmark of excellence in corporate governance, sustainability, and business performance. Seil CEO Janmejaya Mahapatra in a statement said that the recognition is a testament to firm's relentless pursuit of reliability, transparency, and stakeholder value.

The award will be presented to Mahapatra on Nov 4 during the awards presentation ceremony to be held at London during global convention on corporate governance and sustainability.
