TIRUPATI: A team of representatives and officials from the Shirdi Sansthan in Maharashtra arrived at Tirumala to study the darshan management systems of the Tirumala
Tirupati Devasthanams on Saturday.
The team of officials comprising of deputy CEO Ravindra Thackrey, DSP Somnath and sub-divisional magistrate Govind Shinde met TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy and the officials of the district administration led by EO Anil kumar Singhal and additional EO AV Dharma Reddy at Annamaiah Bhavan at Tirumala on Saturday.
TTD officials explained various aspects and practices of temple management being followed by the TTD in terms of accommodation, queue line management, darshan, anna prasadam, srivari seva, accounts, laddu distribution etc.
Later, Shirdi Sansthan has put forward a proposal before the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams to initiate measures to display the official website details of all prominent temples in the country on the websites of respective renowned temple bodies across the country. The proposal if put into action will help the devotees avoid landing up at fake websites.
A proposal to float a federation of all prominent Hindu temples in the country was also discussed during the meeting.
Trust board members J Sekhar Reddy, Siva Kumar and other officials took part.
