Andhra Pradesh: Man held for blackmailing and extortion

VISAKHAPATNAM: The cybercrime police arrested a man for blackmailing and demanding money from a woman.
The fraudster was identified as Ch Sekhar (24), a rowdy-sheeter and accused in a murder case. The accused was a native of Guduru of Tirupati.
The police said that a Vizag based woman accepted a friend request from an unknown person on instagram. Later, he trapped her on the guise of love, and he blackmailed her for money by threatening her that he will upload the videos, voice recording and messages of her on social media.Though she paid some money,he continued to blackmailed her.
Based on the complaint from the victim, the police led by Inspector of Police K Bhavani Prasad investigated the case and nabbed the accused.
