VISAKHAPATNAM: Five people working at a shipping company in Vizag City fell ill after allegedly inhaling some chemical while they were shifting the substance from a container to the godown on Friday.
The sick workers were taken to a private hospital in the Gajuwaka locality of Vizag City for treatment. Their condition is said to be stable.
Vizag City Police chief Shanka Brata Bagchi visited the hospital and interacted with them.
Officials are working to ascertain the exact cause of the incident.
