Man killed by nephew over land dispute

Visakhapatnam: A 75-year-old man identified as Ganesetti Jogi Naidu was murdered by his 46-year-old nephew Ganisetti Dora Babu when he tried to solve a land related dispute between two brothers at Tadapala village under Makavarapalem police station limits in Anakapalle district on Tuesday.Police said that Dora Babu, an auto-rickshaw driver, and his brother G Bhaskar Rao, were engaged in a dispute over a small piece of land.The dispute arose when Bhaskar Rao started tying his cattle where his brother Dora Babu used to park his three-wheeler. When Jogi Naidu and few others tried to resolve the issue, Dora Babu took a sharp-edged weapon and attacked them. Sensing danger, Bhaskar Rao and others fled from the spot, but Jogi Naidu could not. He was stabbed to death.Based on the complaint, the Makavarapalem police rushed to the crime spot and shifted the body for post-mortem. A case has been registered and investigation is on to nab the accused.We also published the following articles recently
