Ministers lauds commitment of TDP cadre in Gulf countries at Lokesh birthday celebration
Andhra Pradesh Ministers Nimmala Ramanaidu and Kondapalli Srinivas on Sunday lauded the commitment of Telugu Desam Party cadres working in Gulf countries, saying overseas party workers play a crucial role in strengthening the party’s development-oriented vision and supporting Andhra Pradesh from abroad. They were addressing TDP representatives from the Gulf region during celebrations held in Riyadh to mark the birthday of Nara Lokesh, National General Secretary of the TDP and AP Minister for IT and Human Resources Development.The ministers, along with AP NRTS Chairman Vemuri Ravi and special guest Julakanti Brahmareddy, MLA from Macherla constituency, appreciated the unity, discipline and social commitment displayed by the Telugu diaspora in Saudi Arabia. They underlined the importance of sustained engagement with expatriates on issues related to welfare, employment opportunities and connectivity with the state.TDP cadres in Riyadh gathered in large numbers to celebrate the occasion in a grand manner, reflecting strong organisational presence among Telugu people living in the Kingdom. Leaders from various Gulf countries interacted with the ministers and discussed key concerns of expatriate communities.
The programme was coordinated by Ravi Radhakrishna, President of the TDP Gulf Council, who thanked party leaders, activists and volunteers for their active participation. Riyadh leaders also acknowledged the support and guidance of Khalid Saifullah, Saudi Arabia NRI TDP President, noting that several organisational and community-related matters were discussed with his involvement.As part of the celebrations, a blood donation camp was organised in Riyadh, which witnessed an overwhelming response from party supporters and well-wishers. A large number of volunteers came forward to donate blood, prompting hospital authorities to regulate entry in batches due to the heavy turnout. Certificates of appreciation were presented to all donors in recognition of their humanitarian service.The celebrations were led by TDP leaders Jani Basha and Rajasekhar Chennupati, under whose guidance the event was conducted smoothly. The blood donation programme and related activities were coordinated by senior leaders Saradhinaidu Vadlamudi, Bhavani Shankar Bogineni, Gaddam Shilpa, Ananth Srinivas Dadi, Naresh Chennupati, Anand Pokuri, Anand Kumar Malishetty, Srikanth Danda, Balaji Danaboyina and Madhu Bolepalli. Women leaders Sucharitha and Bharathi Veerapalli, along with Narendra Palleru, Shalini, Vamsi Krishna Kolli, Mallikarjuna Pratipati, Siva Sekhar and Varun Kumar Vaitla, also played a key role.Following the service activities, party workers cut a cake, shared sweets and organised a community feast, marking Nara Lokesh’s birthday with joy and solidarity.
