Trains canceled and diverted due to safety and maintenance works

VISAKHAPATNAM: The railways canceled several trains in view of safety-related developmental works in the Chakradharpur division of the South Eastern Railway and diverted various trains due to maintenance works at the Mustabad – Gannavaram Section in Vijayawada Division of the South-Central Railway.
Rourkela-Jagdalpur-Rourkela (18107/08) Intercity Express trains and Rourkela-Gunupur-Rourkela Rajya Rani Express (18117/18) trains were cancelled on June 12. Meanwhile, Visakhapatnam-Banaras (18311) express would be rescheduled to leave Visakhapatnam at 7.05 am (2.45 hours delay) on the same date instead of its scheduled departure at 4.20 am.
Several trains will run in a diverted route via Vijayawada- Gudivada- Bhimavaram Town- Nidadavolu instead of their regular route Vijayawada- Eluru- Nidadavolu due to maintenance works in Vijayawada division. Ernakulam-Patna Super-Fast (22643) express leaving Ernakulam on June 10 and June 11, June 17 and June 18, and June 24 and June 25 will run in a diverted route. SMV Bengaluru-Guwahati SF (12509) express leaving SMV Bengaluru on June 14, June 21 and June will run a diverted route. The train CST Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Konark Express (11019) leaving CST Mumbai on June 11, 14, 15, June 17, 18, 21 and June 22, 24, 25, June 28 and June 29 will run in a diverted route. The stoppage was eliminated at Eluru, Tadepalligudem.
The Secundrabad – Shalimar AC SF (12774) Express leaving Secundrabad on June 11, 18 and June 25, Lingampalli –Visakhapatnam Janmabhoomi Express (12806) leaving Lingampalli on June 11 and 12, June 15 and 16, June 18 and 19, June 22 and 23, June 25 and 26, and June 29 and June 30 will run a diverted route. The railway authorities informed that passengers are requested to note the changes and act accordingly.
