VISAKHAPATNAM: The Vizag Filmnagar Cultural Center (VFNCC) announced on Monday that the family of young, talented Vizag cricketer Nitish Kumar Reddy accepted their invitation for Nitish Kumar Reddy to become an honorary member of the prestigious VFNCC.
Vizag-based Nitish Reddy's debut century against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in the fourth test match of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, under challenging circumstances, was special for the Indian team. The 22-year-old Nitish Reddy's maiden century created a buzz across Andhra Pradesh.
The President and Secretary of VFNCC, Kayala Venkata Reddy and Ch Srinivasa Raju respectively, along with other members, stated that VFNCC will felicitate Nitish Reddy in Vizag city.
They mentioned that Nitish's performance in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy brought immense pride to Vizag city, and they hoped that Nitish would fulfil his dreams in cricket.
