And Dilliwallas are happy to oblige. Reason? Frustration with chaos at the Capital's airport, access to remote biz centres or a plain need for a quick getaway... a chopper can come handy everywhere.
As entrepreneur Mohit Burman says, "This is a great idea. There are often situations where companies need to quickly reach a branch at some remote place and this will really solve that problem.
Since this is a fractional ownership plan, the cost will also be competitive." Adds biz pro Sanjeev Bijli, "There is such a chaos at the Delhi airport that any other alternative will naturally become popular."
Fun, however, will take a backseat here, according to Sheetal Ansal, "Personal rides will be far and few. Work needs would be on a higher priority." But, according to Bijli, "India is continually surprising us these days.

Things which could be termed rare and super-luxurious, are becoming increasingly common. There are so many spots near Delhi that people would love to visit for a quick holiday, and so, many would be interested."
According to PR-man Dilip Cherian, a mix of both biz and fun is in order."Whether it is for business purposes or fun, this is a plan that can be very useful especially for those willing to beat the traffic woes. Given the rise in salary, this is of interest to more people," he says.
Sums up Mihir Bhagwati, manager of the company which has come out with this initiative, "People don't fly more than 200 hours a year while a chopper can fly 800 hours annually.
So, fractional ownership saves those hours. Also, the cost of this plan is relatively low one can own a one-fourth share of a Cessna for Rs 20 lakh. We have already received about 100 enquiries."
