The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 2 shortly on its official website. Candidates who have registered for the April session will be able to download their hall tickets from jeemain.nta.nic.in once released.
As per the latest updates, the admit cards are likely to be issued three to four days before the respective exam dates, indicating that candidates scheduled to appear in the early phase of the exam may receive their hall tickets by the last week of March 2026. The NTA is also expected to release admit cards in phases, depending on the exam date allotted to candidates.
JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam schedule
The JEE Main 2026 April session is scheduled to be conducted on April 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, 2026, in computer-based test (CBT) mode across multiple centres in India and abroad. The examination will be held in two shifts each day.
The first shift will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second shift will be conducted from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Candidates are advised to carefully check their allotted exam date, shift timing, and reporting time mentioned on the admit card to avoid any last-minute confusion.
JEE Main session 2 city slip already released
Ahead of the admit card, the NTA has already issued the exam city intimation slip, which informs candidates about the city where their exam centre will be located. However, candidates must note that this slip is not a substitute for the admit card and will not be accepted at the examination centre.
The admit card remains a mandatory document for entry into the exam hall and must be carried along with a valid photo ID proof.
