AIIMS INI SS counselling 2025: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) will release the Institute of National Importance – Super Speciality (INI SS) January 2026 round 1 seat allotment result today, January 29, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the counselling process can check and download their seat allotment result from the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in.

The round 1 seat allotment result will be available under the “My Page” section on the website. To access the result, candidates must log in using the same credentials that were used while completing the application form and other admission-related processes for INI SS Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) courses for the January 2026 session.

How to download AIIMS INI SS round 1 seat allotment result

Candidates can follow the steps given below to check their result:

1. Visit the official website at aiimsexams.ac.in
2. Click on the INI SS counselling link available on the homepage
3. Log in to “My Page” using your registered ID and password
4. The round 1 seat allotment result will appear on the screen
5. Download and save the result for future reference

Reporting and admission confirmation

As per the AIIMS INI SS January 2026 counselling round 1 schedule, candidates who have been allotted seats can accept their allotment and report to the assigned institute from December 30, 11 am to January 6, 6 pm. During reporting, candidates must submit the required documents and pay the security deposit to confirm their admission.

After logging in, candidates must choose one of the following options:

• Option 1: Accept the allotted seat and do not participate in further counselling rounds
• Option 2: Accept the seat and choose to participate in further rounds of counselling

Seat allotment process

Seats are allotted based on merit among candidates who completed registration within the specified date and time. The merit list includes details such as roll number, overall rank, INI SS score, subject, category, and the allotted institute. Any vacant seats in general, sponsored, or foreign national categories will be carried forward to the next counselling session.

AIIMS INI SS counselling 2026 is conducted for admission to DM and MCh courses at institutes including All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) Chandigarh, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) Trivandrum, National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) Bengaluru, and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) Puducherry.

The INI SS 2026 entrance examination was held on November 22. A total of 3,304 candidates qualified for the counselling process.
